Program Director

Let’s Talk SAFETY, Inc. is a nonprofit offering services to all who are in recovery and for those loving someone in active addiction. Our members receive the support they need to enjoy a healthy and balanced lifestyle as defined by them. The PILLARS services include but are not limited to: holistic self-help techniques (Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, Acupuncture) and group processes (AA, NA, Recovery Dharma, Mutual Aid) which teach effective coping strategies (Communication Skills, Parenting Skills Enhancement). 

The Program Director will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in the management and execution of the Substance Use and Mental Health Services, Building Communities of Recovery projects. This role involves client interviews and follow-ups to understand the needs of community members, monitoring project plans for The PILLARS, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. 

To be successful, the Program Director must be detail oriented, able to work independently on tight deadlines and be an excellent communicator. The prospect must be competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A bachelor's degree in a related field of study and/or at least three (3) years of relevant experience is required for consideration. 

Responsibilities 

● Manage and monitor project plans, deadlines, and completion rates 

● Evaluate potential problems and develop solutions 

● Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings 

● Provide administrative support as needed to ensure stakeholder views are managed ● Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately ● Develop summary reports to be presented to the organization’s Executive Director ● Prepare necessary data to meet Government and Performance Results Act (GPRA) requirements 

Qualifications/Skills

● Bachelor degree 

● Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills 

● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team ● Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook ● Ability to work on tight deadlines 

Starting Salary: $60,000 + Health Benefits
